Flower Essences

“Health and disease are caused by how we think, how we feel within ourselves. Health and disease are the consolidation of mental attitude.”
Dr. Edward Bach

Flower essences are a subtle yet powerful medicine that addresses the mental, emotional, and vibrational self. This beautiful medicine targets not the physical malady but aims to raise our vibration to heal our minds and hearts so that we may find our way back to our higher, healthy selves. Flower essences are the unconditional love of nature preserved in an aqueous solution. They are the life force and vibrational healing of the plants through its blooms. As our thoughts and feelings turn away from our harmonious selves, we redirect with the gifts of nature.

Bedstraw Flower Essence: The essence of dreams and rest

Bedstraw essence provides grounding energy, allowing for clarity of mind and purification of spirit. Bedstraw essence filters out mental clutter, giving our hearts and minds harmony and balance. With a clear and calm mind, our rest is deep and our dreams are sweet.

Flowers of a plant are suspended in spring water in a clear glass bowl. The bowl of flowers is set on the ground, connecting to the earth, for the sun to infuse the vibrational medicine into the spring water for a few hours or overnight to be bathed by the moon. The flower essence water is then stabilized by adding equal parts brandy.

To prepare the stock bottle, 5 drops of the mother are added to a 1-oz dropper bottle of brandy.

To prepare the dose bottle, add 5 drops of the stock bottle to a 1-oz bottle of your chosen base. You can choose anything from water to brandy. We often use 1/2 brandy and 1/2 simple syrup hydrosol. You can use a single flower essence or create a blend of up to 7 essences.

Take 3-5 drops of the dose bottle 3-5 times a day directly into the mouth.
