Ingredients:
4 frozen bananas
1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
2-4 tablespoons maple syrup (substitute raw unfiltered honey for extra immune-boosting properties)
1-2 cups of coconut milk, to desired consistency (substitute your favorite non-dairy milk)
1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, but it adds essential omega 3s and fatty acids!)
1 teaspoon fresh ginger root (or ½ teaspoon dried powdered)
1 teaspoon fresh turmeric root (or ½ teaspoon dried powdered)
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1/2 teaspoon cloves powder
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg powder
1 teaspoon echinacea powder
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
- In a blender, combine 1 cup coconut milk (or other non-dairy milk) and all other ingredients.
- Blend until smooth, adding more coconut milk to reach your desired consistency.
