Herbalism Roots Internship Partner
Polita’s Place
“Working with Courtney has been an incredible experience. I truly admire the passion, curiosity, and drive she brings to my shop. I’m honored that she’s chosen to complete her practicum hours with me. Having another herbalist around has been so much fun and keeps my work fresh and relevant. I’m excited to continue working with Courtney even after she finishes herbal school.”
Paula
Paula is a native Coloradan who has always had a passion for nature. She sees the connection between nature and mankind as a partnership, and believes that in order to work together successfully, there must be a mutual understanding and respect.
Her passion for helping others began in the medical field as she took premedical classes in college while working as a medical assistant and learning some of the ins and outs of western medicine. However, her path led her to teaching rather than medical school. During this time, she learned the importance of patience and developed the ability to explain things on each individual’s level. She has since moved on to herbalism. In this realm she has the ability to combine both of her background careers in order to help others with their healing journey while also being able to educate regarding health, nutrition, and healing.
