Regenerate
Meet our new internship partner – Regenerate. Regenerate was established in 2022 by Michael Bauer and Alec Solimeo. The Regenerate team consists of local agroecologists, systems engineers, landowners, and earth warriors dedicated to developing regenerative projects that benefit ecosystems, communities, and farms.
Regenerate is committed to pioneering ecosystem health and regenerative farm and ranch solutions. With a strong focus on stewardship, organic regeneration, innovation, integrity and community, our expert team delivers exceptional results that enhance biodiversity, soil health and the landowners relationship to their land. By utilizing practices such as cover cropping, agroforestry, and rotational grazing, regenerative land management seeks to rebuild soil organic matter, reduce erosion, and sequester carbon, contributing to a healthier ecosystem. Our Regenerate approach not only boosts the productivity and resilience of the land but also supports the well-being of the surrounding community by fostering a balanced and thriving

Advice for Students
“Start small, and observe. Then do a bit more each time. But don’t wait for the perfect conditions, for the “planets to align” to get started. Start something right now. That will teach you how to get to the next step. Just start something, anything. Utilize holistic decision-making to speed up the process and minimize risk. Study ecology, textbook ecology, and know your systems. Nature has perfected these ways already, learn from her and work with her flows and cycles.” Michael Bauer, Co-Founder
