1 heaping teaspoon dried sage leaves or 2 heaping teaspoons fresh sage leaves, finely chopped
1 tablespoon honey
500 ml water (about 2 ¼ cups)
Apple cider vinegar
- Put water and sage in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, cover and lower temperature to maintain a simmer.
- Simmer for 30 minutes.
- Strain into a measuring cup and add an equal quantity of the apple cider vinegar and mix. For example, if you are left with 2 cups strained liquid, add 2 cups apple cider vinegar.
- Add honey and mix well.
- Store in clean, tight-sealing bottles in a cool, dark location.
