Herbalism Roots Internship Partner

SpiritWorks Trilogy

Meet Lindy Dewey, the founder & owner of SpiritWorks. We are fortunate to have Lindy and SpiritWorks Trilogy, a gorgeous sanctuary in Whitefish, Montana, as our Internship Partner.

SpiritWorks Herb Farm & Apothecary is one part of SpiritWorks Trilogy—our healing sanctuary that also includes a retreat center and a holistic wellness clinic. Rooted in the symbolism of the Celtic triskelion, our mission is to learn, farm, and grow health—a vision reflected in the mandala at the heart of our land. We are dedicated to nurturing both community and individual well-being by listening to the wisdom of plants and fostering a deep connection with nature. This year, we’ve made education a central focus: we’ve created an on-site library, launched hands-on workshops, and established an immersive apprenticeship program. Our study tracks include Farm Management, Apothecary Management, Herb Processing, Herbal Nutrition, and Marketing.

Working with student interns

“Mentoring future farmers and herbalists is one of my greatest passions. At SpiritWorks, interns gain direct experience with live medicinal plants—learning to grow, harvest, and process them for optimal potency. In the process of tending plants, students often discover they’re also cultivating themselves.”
